What GPA do you need for Division III sports?
There's no NCAA minimum GPA for D-III, since eligibility runs through each school's own admissions standards instead of the NCAA Eligibility Center. In practice this means the bar varies widely: some D-III schools want a 2.5, while academically selective ones expect 3.5 or higher. Because there's no athletic scholarship to offset admissions, your transcript carries real weight.
Can you get financial aid without an athletic scholarship at Division III?
