Each high school is ranked by its total verified college recruiting pipeline over the last 5 years. We count the number of graduates now on a college athletic roster across football, men's and women's basketball, and men's and women's track & field. The data comes from first-party scraping of 1,900+ college athletic rosters cross-referenced against the federal NCES high school database. No self-reported data, no paid listings.
Which high schools send the most athletes to college?
The top feeder high schools tend to be large public programs in talent-rich states (Texas, Florida, California, Georgia, Ohio) and elite private football factories on the east coast (Don Bosco Prep, IMG Academy, Bergen Catholic, St. John's College HS). Kyle Monangai went Don Bosco to Rutgers to the Bears (2025 NFL Draft, 7th round). RawRecruit was built so the next overlooked kid has the map he didn't. What sports does the pipeline data cover?

We track all 51,000+ U.S. public and private high schools from the NCES database. Only schools with at least one verified college athlete on a roster in the last 5 years appear in these rankings. If your school isn't listed, it means we haven't yet linked one of its alumni to a college roster. This happens as more rosters are scraped and cross-referenced weekly.
When should I start the college recruiting process?
Most college coaches recommend starting in your sophomore year of high school (9th-10th grade) by building a profile and reaching out to programs. NCAA rules limit when coaches can initiate contact, but you can reach out any time. Recruiting timelines vary by sport: football has early signing in December, basketball has live evaluation periods in April and July, and track & field recruiting intensifies during indoor and outdoor championship seasons.
