Girls' flag football is the fastest-growing college sport there is, and most of the programs on this list did not exist two years ago. That is good news for a player who has been overlooked in a crowded sport: these teams need players now, and many of them have never had to cut anyone.
One thing this list does not do is promise money. More than half of these programs are at D-III schools or two-year colleges, where athletic aid is limited or does not exist. Each row says what the school's governing body allows, and says it plainly.

Does college girls' flag football come with athletic money?
It depends on the governing body. NCAA D-I and D-II schools and NAIA schools may award athletic aid for flag football. NCAA D-III schools and California community colleges do not award athletic aid in any sport, so a spot there is a roster spot with academic aid only. Some two-year and smaller associations are still writing their rules, and we label those programs as not verified rather than guess.
